What kind of place is Fun Time Pony?

We’re an underground dive pizza bar and gig venue in Canberra. With a steady lineup of DJs, bands and wild nights, expect loud music and good times.

Where are you located?

We’re hidden beneath 122 Alinga Street, Canberra City. Look for the neon sign and follow the noise downstairs.

What are your opening hours?

Thursday 6pm – 3am

Friday 8pm – 3am

Saturday 8pm – 3am

Wednesday 6pm – 11pm (monthly events)

Closed Sunday to Tuesday (unless we’ve got something juicy – check socials).

Is there wheelchair access?

Yes – we’re accessible via elevator from street level. Ask our friendly bar staff or security if you need a hand.

Do you have accessible bathrooms?

Yep, we’ve got accessible toilets available inside the venue.

Can I BYO food or drinks?

No BYO. We’ve got your night covered with hot pizza and cold drinks. Just rock up hungry.

Are minors allowed?

Nah – we’re an 18+ licensed venue. Bring ID.

Do you serve food?

Hell yes. $5 slices. $20 pizzas. $10 Slice + Schooner combo, always. Late-night food in the Canberra CBD never tasted better.

Do you have drink specials?

You know it. From cheap vodkas to shots and rotating deals. Keep an eye on our venue signage and Instagram for nightly specials.

Do you cater for dietary needs?

We’ve got vegetarian options – just ask the bar crew when you order.

Do you charge entry?

Most nights are free, but gigs and special events might have a cover. Check our What’s On page or the door. Always worth it.

Do you sell merch?

Yep! Ask at the bar for our limited-run socks and stubbie holders. More coming soon.

How much does pool cost?

Nothing. Free pool every night. Just grab a cue and get amongst it.

How much is pinball?

$2 per game. Need coins? Hit the bar – we’ve got change.

Where are the toilets?

Head to the back past the dancefloor. Signs will guide you. Or ask our bar crew if you’re turned around.

What kind of music do you play?

All killer, no filler. Expect punk, indie, hardcore, and rock, plus DJs spinning disco, house, techno, and party bangers. Canberra’s most unhinged playlist lives here.

How do I find out what’s on?

Hit the What’s On page or follow us on Instagram to stay in the loop with upcoming gigs and events.

Do I need to book tickets?

Most nights are free, but for bigger gigs or special events, grab a ticket via our site or Oztix.

Where do I buy tickets?

From the What’s On page or direct through Oztix. Space is tight – book early.

What is Parlour of Dreams?

Our hidden private room. Perfect for birthdays, mischief, or private hire. Exclusive stairwell access, your own bartender, and no rules.

Can I book a show or event there?

Yes – artists, promoters, bands: head to our Get A Gig page and pitch us your vibe.

Can I hire the venue for a private event?
